Meltdown Introduces THE ARGENT: The World’s First Pure Silver Ice Press

Cocktail enthusiasts, collectors and luxury consumers alike now have a new aspirational item to consider: the Meltdown Argent Ice Press – the world’s first ice press crafted from 18 pounds of pure .9999 fine silver. 

Manufactured in Tallmadge, Ohio by Meltdown Inc., The Argent was created from the mindset that some objects deserve to exist at their absolute pinnacle. While Meltdown has been handcrafting precision ice presses out of pure copper for years, every component of the Argent is precision-machined and hand-polished from a solid silver billet, transforming one of the world’s most precious metals into the ultimate expression for the luxury home bar.   

Only ten Argent ice presses will be produced each year.

Crystal clear ice spheres are the base of every perfectly crafted cocktail. As the ice press forms an ice ball, meltwater is channeled down the sides of the device along four cascading grooves designed into the sidewall.
